Femme meets Sports
Pleated skirts are such a nice way to update your Fall wardrobe. You can fine them in all lengths from a mini to skater to knee-length to a midi or even a maxi! The clue to finding a good pair for you is to try on a few to decide what suits you the best!
What we love about Rajani's look is the two ends of ultra feminine-chic i.e the skirt and the epitome of sporty vibe with the raglan paired together. The look is super cool meet sophisticated, which we super love.

Rajani pairs it up with a raglan 3/4 sleeves black-n-white color block crop-T to add a sporty vibe to this cool look. Yet she pairs it up with gold rimmed black heels to make it more occasion -wear. We are loving the whole Indian anklet touch!

Its a bold statement that you make when you decide to to this to your long tresses, bleach-em-blonde/ Ombre like Kayaan Contractor does. A very well done hair color job that goes from light blonde to hazelnut to her natural hair color, this adds so much color to her personality.

Kayaan gives us a very outdoorsy/street 90's look with her red and black tablecloth flannel plaid shirt paired with blue jeans and boots in black leather with a chunky chain and a matching backpack in black leather. Its a perfect casual look that can be styled UP (as in this case!) or Down with a pair of sneakers.

Chandni Sareen always manages to nail the casual look with her styling that is balanced and on-the-spot and adds to it with her versatile personality. Today she gives us the quintessential summer look with a pair of sassy denim-cut-off-shorts that are a must have for the summer season. A look from the revival of the 70's Daisy Dukes as they came to be known as with a touch of grunge and punk makes this the much desired look for 2015-16!

Chandni pairs her cut-off denim shorts with frayed hem and destroyed surface patched with badges including a big yellow smiley with a v-neck T in white slub-knit. A flannel plaid over-shirt is used aptly for layering with studded yokes to bring in the 70's and the punk element.

'Unique and modern with an air of old world charm' is what we said about his style when Anuj Bhutani last appeared here in a double breasted suit after showing his collection at LFW. His style is consistent with that statement and we can only add 'A tailored sophistication' to his approach to clothes.

Anuj wears a shirt in crisp poplin subtly color blocked and with a bellowed patch pocket and a checkered collar to boot. He pairs it up with a pair of tailored trousers cut just above the ankle (as is the preferred length now!) in a rich plum color.

The choice of shades need a mention as this squarish shape is rather unusual and one must ensure that it complements one's face (like it totally does in this case!) before investing into one. With his mac-book and phone and a tan leather sling bag Anuj gives us the I-am-all-about-business look.

Nidhi Jacob has a distinct style, a style that's minimal, high-on-comfort and ease, drawing from vintage and tradition, blending a ZEN like calm and veering towards unisex, its this distinct identity that sees this fashion editor of ELLE go about her duties.

Nidhi wears this blue-on-blue color blocked long tunic (kurta) in cotton and pairs it up with a divided skirt in black, just about grazing her mid-calf. A structured sling bag in white leather and seemingly super comfortable slip on shoes in black & white completes her look. Gursi Singh is the co-founder of the label Lovebirds along with Amrita Khanna. What drew our attention is his fabulous pair of shades and the whole minimal and clean urban look that he sports. We agree the shoes maybe an unusual choice but hey they are signature "Lovebirds" pair....it might be his lucky pair!

Gursi wears this black T paired with a tailored pair of black trousers. The tailored shacket (shirt+jacket) in beige is an unusual piece, clean and minimalistic. Almost a cross between a waistcoat and a short sleeve shirt, it works beautifully as a layering piece and brings in just a hint of structure to the outfit.

Gursi also shows a fabulous new way to wear the hair undercut style paired with a top man-bun, pushing the boundaries just a bit with the traditional Sikh style. A neatly trimmed full Mo-beard bring out his personality and are keeping with the clean and sophisticated urban-ism that they showed with the Lovebirds collection.
