This summer I recommend
1. A cool cotton top, emerald is my choice of color (being voted
the color of the year) pair with denim, chinos and shorts.
2. A high waist skirt in a neutral tone (not too much of flare),
wear with colorful tees.
3. A classic yet a chunky neck-piece to add a bit of glamour.
4. N eons are still a rage but a tonal bag goes a long way.
5. If you are heel person strappy wedges are an all-time summer
staple, else don your strappy sandals but do try new colors.
6. Try Coral nail paint, goes great with all skin tones and adds a
bit of color
7. Last but not the least a funky umbrella.
And always carry a big smile, spread the cheer.

In a minute
Everyone wants to be someone, achieve their own milestones and
get there. To get there you carry along tools that include skill, talent, charm
and knowledge. Something is missing? The attire, I consider it the one of the
most important tools in today’s professional, social interactions.
We are living in a fast paced world with less than a minute to
make an impression. A glance at you; a question to you and you either land the
job of your dreams or are put up in a wait list. First impressions speak a great
volume. As I read somewhere communication is only twenty percent talking; the
rest is body language. A product is as important and attractive as its
packaging.
If world is a stage we all are mere performers playing a part
and dressing up for it!
Are you dressed for the part?
Watch out for the next post – Must haves this summer.

To be or not to be
As stated earlier, I do not judge others by what, how and why they are wearing. I am always trying to explore the thought behind the decision, trying to read the minds hidden behind the clothes. I always suggest people seeking my advice, when putting together your looks, always adapt never copy. As easy as the advice may sound I also know that it cannot be case. For those who believe in looking the part as well as playing it should always find and experiment.
Once a look is nailed, you can start replacing, one thing at a time, for e.g. a necklace, then the top, then the trouser, hence creating variations! It always helps to take a feedback from your real friends, the ones you don’t mind hearing the nastiest and the best.
